2019/11/30東京蔵前にあるゲストハウスNui. TINÖRKS The story of Leaves We've embarked on a distinct endeavor alongside our band's core activities. The theme of this track is Lo-Fi Chill Hop, capturing a moment where two individuals with different timelines spend time by the side of a flowing stream in nature. The title means "In the Margins of Time" in Japanese. Lead member Kawahara Shizuku (Irish flute, lap harp, vocals, etc.) crafted a beat using Elektron's sampler, "Digitakt," while collaborator Hosei on the keyboard added his touch. First, Shizuku recorded the rhythm track while capturing the scene, Hosei then listened, devised key arrangements, and recorded after. Incorporating the notion of "different timelines in the same place" into the music, this is expressed through live sessions. A song created through experimental and innovative efforts for us. Based on sampled drums, piano, bass, synth from Lofi panda3, and phrases played by Hosei on the ukulele, the composition took form. The rhythmic pulsations of noise were sampled from TINÖRKS' released "MORINO HAJIMARI" dubplate. (The background noise is courtesy of the DAW plugin 'VINYL STRIP' by AudioThing.)
